Election day is on Monday, October 17, 2022.
Make sure you’re on the voters list by September 22, 2022! Double check that you’re on the list or register here: www.yellowknife.ca
This election, there are a number of ways that you can vote:
- Mail-in or Drop-off your Ballot: With this option, you can skip the lines and vote when you want. Voters may return their ballot kit by mail; Drop Box at Yellowknife City Hall; or by bringing it to a Voter Assistance location (Multiplex or Tree of Peace) on October 17, 2022. All ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2022. Ballots received after that time will not be counted.
- In-person on October 17: On October 17, from 10 am to 7 pm, you can vote at one of two locations from: Multiplex Gym or the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre Boardroom.
- By Proxy: If you are unable to vote via mail-in ballot or on Election Day (October 17), make sure that you sign-up for a proxy. More information: https://www.yellowknife.ca/en/city-government/voters.aspx#Proxy-Voting
